How the Final Battle in Season 7 Started
In the middle of season 7, it seemed like the heroes were about to win. Dabi was defeated, All For One was down, and Izuku was getting close to beating Shigaraki. But things took a turn for the worse when Spinner woke up Kurogiri, who used his powers to scatter the villains and mess up the heroes’ plans. This led to chaos, with Himiko using her Quirk to create an army of Twice clones, which knocked Aizawa and Monoma out of the fight. This allowed Shigaraki to regain control of his body and his powers, making him even more dangerous.
Meanwhile, Dabi, who everyone thought was defeated, got a second wind. He planned to destroy everything with a fiery explosion. At the same time, All For One used Eri’s Rewind Quirk to become younger and stronger. With Endeavor busy fighting Dabi, there was no one left to stop All For One from helping Shigaraki fully take control of his body.
How Dabi and Himiko Were Finally Defeated
As Dabi’s power spiraled out of control, Endeavor tried to fly him into the sky to save everyone from the explosion, planning to sacrifice himself in the process. However, the entire Todoroki family showed up to help. Together, they used their powers to stop Dabi, with Todoroki delivering the final blow, assisted by Iida. Even though Dabi was on the brink of death, he continued cursing his father, Endeavor, while the Todoroki family expressed their regrets for letting things get so bad.
At the same time, Himiko’s emotional state was worsening. She couldn’t use Twice’s Quirk to create copies of the other villains, which Uraraka realized was because she was too angry to remember how much she loved them. Uraraka put all her energy into trying to understand Himiko and calm her down, even awakening her Quirk in the process. In a touching moment, Uraraka called Himiko the “cutest girl in the world,” which finally helped soothe her rage.
Sadly, even though Himiko stopped attacking, Uraraka was in danger. She had been stabbed earlier and was losing a lot of blood. With no other way to save her, Himiko used her Quirk to transform into Uraraka and give her all of her blood, even though it meant Himiko would die. Despite Uraraka’s protests, Himiko insisted that this was her way of living life the way she wanted, and she passed away after thanking Uraraka for trying to understand her.
The Beginning of All Might and All For One’s Final Battle
While all this was happening, All For One was making his way to Shigaraki. However, he was stopped by All Might, who was determined to fight him one last time. Knowing that no one else could stop All For One, All Might put on a special armor called Armored All Might and challenged his old enemy. Even though All Might knew it was a trap, All For One couldn’t resist fighting him because of his deep hatred for him.
Using gadgets inspired by Izuku and his friends’ Quirks, All Might initially had the upper hand. But All For One soon turned the tables with a massive explosion that left All Might severely injured. However, memories of his time with Nana and Izuku gave All Might the strength to keep fighting. He knew that he just needed to hold off All For One until the Rewind Quirk eventually made him disappear. The season ended with All Might laughing as he launched another attack, while Izuku watched the battle unfold through the power of One For All.
What’s Next in Season 8?
Although we don’t know when My Hero Academia season 8 will premiere, season 7 has already hinted at how the story will continue. In the final moments of the season, there was a montage of characters still in the middle of their fights, and one shot stood out: a bloodied All Might card that belonged to Bakugo. This suggests that Bakugo will return to the fight and may play a key role in taking down All For One.
If Bakugo defeats All For One, it would be a huge moment for his character development and a fitting end to All Might’s story. All Might has accepted that he might die in this fight, but if Bakugo steps in and changes that, it would symbolize the passing of the torch to the next generation of heroes. Season 8 is shaping up to deliver an emotional and satisfying conclusion to this epic battle.
Conclusion
My Hero Academia season 7 has set the stage for an even bigger and more intense season 8. With All Might and All For One’s final battle underway and Bakugo’s return heavily teased, the stakes are higher than ever. Season 7 didn’t just continue the story—it deepened the relationships and struggles of each character, making the next season one of the most anticipated yet. Fans can expect an action-packed and emotional conclusion as the series moves toward its epic finale.
